Focus 2020 - My streets

Focus 2020 - My streets

The FOCUS local history photo competition is back in 2020, with cash prizes up for grabs to amateur photographers.

This year’s theme ‘My Streets’ aims to highlight the streetscapes of 2020, documenting today’s trends in housing, landscaping and vehicles, to look back on in the decades ahead.

You can enter by taking a photo of your street - or any street in the City of Armadale - to help future folks see how our suburbs look in the present. It’s that simple! For more advice read the hints & tips sheet.

BONUS CATEGORY: there is also a pre-2000 ‘historical’ category for scans of photographs more than 20 years old. So open your old photo albums and show us how our district looked decades ago! Enter your favourite pre-2000 photo taken within the City of Armadale for more chances to win a cash prize and a large acrylic-mounted copy of your image.
