Armadale Writers' Award

The Armadale Writer’s Award is a creative writing competition which is open to adult amateur writers living in Western Australia.

Entry for this competition is online only. This competition will run from 1 to 30 September 2018, and entries will only be accepted during this time.
Works must be original prose and have a 1000 - 4000 word count.

Please read the Terms and Conditions to guarantee eligibility.
Entries that fail to meet the requirements as laid out in the Terms and Conditions will not qualify for a prize.
The promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding this matter.

Entries Close Sunday 30 September 2018, 11.59pm (AWST)
Finalists notified 15 – 19 October 2018
Unsuccessful Entrants notified Friday 26 October 2018

Judging:
This award will be judged by a panel of authors and librarians.
This is a creative writing competition and entries will be judged on the originality of themes, plot development, story structure, and the overall quality of writing.

Individual feedback will not be provided.
