Aunty Di in Conversation with: Sue Williams

Join PLWA for an online conversation with indigenous elder and activist, Aunty Di. A compelling story about the power of love, survival and hope, Aunty Di will be joined by Sue Williams as they discuss Di's memoir: Daughter of the River Country.

'Born in country NSW in the 1940s, baby Dianne is immediately taken from her Aboriginal mother. Raised in the era of the White Australia policy, Dianne grows up believing her adoptive Irish mother, Val, is her birth mother. From a victim of the Stolen Generations comes a remarkable memoir of abuse, survival – and ultimately hope.'

This event is via Zoom. The link to the online event to be provided by the event organiser.
