Narrative Tension

How to keep readers engrossed in your story

If you feel like something is missing in your story and you’re not sure how to rework it into a compelling narrative, then this workshop is for you.

You will learn what narrative tension is and why the focus on turning points, conflict and drama can sometimes lead to a flat story.

Writing techniques will be demonstrated, including how to allow the tension to emerge from the characters and their situations, so you can avoid both contrived plots and imposing hooks and twists that just don’t fit into the story.

This workshop is presented by Natasha Lester, the bestselling, multi-award winning author of eight historical and two literary novels.

Places are limited and bookings are essential.
